Do you plan some tests with OC, LN2 or Dice?

coolice: Thanks for the benchies man!

I'd really like to see what the DKA790GX could do as far as OC'ing the 940 on HQ Air/Water...

I can at match most of those with my OC'd 9950BE. Any idea when the NDA will lift, or when the chips will be available? Dates I've seen for both are all over the place (including NDA lift on 12/20/08, today. )...

Thx for the data coolice,

Ran all tests for comparison on my 9950BE with exact same NB and MEM settings (only difference I used 4GB mem).

http://www.ocxtreme.org/forumenus/sh...&postcount=131

PII is slower in wprime? Does bios have an field for smart fetch? BTW, I tested thos kingston 8500's here and had no fun on 790GX. Hardly got 1066 mode working, dimm's with an lower tRC's run much better.

i have no idea how it compare with Phenom I
the last time im with AMD was 5000+ BE
the BIOS doesnt have Smart Fetch option

anyway,here is the overclocked benchies

cpu overclocked to 4ghz
gpu still at stock clock

changed cooling from air to water
also mem to ballistic pc8000

boot at 19.5x200, set to 20x using AMD Overdrive in windows
due to AMD Overdrive failed to install in Windows 7 Ultimate, i switch to Vista Home Premium as i need it to get 4GHz, but PCMark 05 in Windows 7 Ultimate has higher score
15278 vs 14691
Win 7 vs Win Vista
3.9GHz vs 4GHz

SuperPi 1m

SuperPi 32m

Wprime

Pcmark05

Cinebench
unable to complete multi-core rendering at 4ghz, still figuring out the reason

Aquamark3

3DMark 06 - 17k

3DMark Vantage Performance preset - P9967, very close to 1k

That has also happen on the first amd even in austin. CB10 did not run at 4GHz.
Good to see 2.66GHz NB speed over there. Maybe CB10 will pass with a lower NB speed.
